IP Settings
Starting with v16 R4, the 4D application server supports IPv6 address notation. Support of IPv6 is transparent for users and 4D developers: 4D Server accepts either IPv6 or IPv4 connections without distinction.
However, this support depends on the 4D Server and 4D remote versions (32-bit or 64-bit). The following table lists supported configurations:
Compatibility Note: IPv6 support is only available when the ServerNet network layer is enabled on 4D Server (see New ServerNet Network Layer (compatibility)).
