If this key contains False, the v13 client upgrade file ("archive.mac" and/or "archive.win") will not be generated in the 4D Client upgrade sub-folder. This file is used to process the upgrading of 4D v13 client applications to version v14.

The v13 client upgrade file is generated automatically:

  • When you use the BUILD APPLICATION command and BuildV13ClientUpgrades is omitted or is True.
  • When you generate the client-server application from the "Build Application" dialog box.

With a view to optimization, particularly when updating 4D client applications that are already in v14, you can disable this function by passing False in the BuildV13ClientUpgrades key.
