ODBC_SQLSetPos

ODBC_SQLSetPos ( stmtID ; rowNb ; opération ; lockType ) -> Résultat
Paramètre Type   Description
stmtID  Entier long in Statement ID
rowNb  Entier long in Position of the row in the rowset on which to perform the operation specified with the operation argument
opération  Entier long in Operation to perform
lockType  Entier long in Specifies how to lock the row after performing the operation
Résultat  Entier long in Returns the result of the MS ODBC API function SQLSetPos

The ODBC_SQLSetPos command sets the cursor position in a rowset and allows an application to refresh data in the rowset or to update or delete data in the result set.

stmtID is a valid statement ID returned by ODBC_SQLAllocStmt.

rowNb is the position of the row in the rowset on which to perform the operation specified with the operation argument. If 0, then the operation applies to every row in the rowset.

operation is the operation to perform and can be one of the following constants:

ConstantValueDescription
SQL_POSITION0Driver positions the cursor on the row specified by rowNb
SQL_REFRESH1Driver positions the cursor on the row specified by rowNb and refreshes data in the rowset for that row
SQL_UPDATE2Driver positions the cursor on the row specified by rowNb and updates the underlying row of data with the values in the row set
SQL_DELETE3Driver positions the cursor on the row specified by rowNb and deletes the underlying row of data

lockType specifies how to lock the row after performing the operation:

ConstantValueDescription
SQL_LOCK_NO_CHANGE0Driver or data source ensures that the row is in the same locked or unlocked state as it was before ODBC_SQLSetPos was called
SQL_LOCK_EXCLUSIVE1Driver or data source locks the row exclusively
SQL_LOCK_UNLOCK2Driver or data source unlocks the row

For more information, please see the SQLSetPos function in the MS ODBC API Reference at http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms713507(VS.85).aspx.
