ODBC_SQLPrepare 


 

ODBC_SQLPrepare ( stmtID ; statementText ) -> Function result 
Parameter Type   Description
stmtID  Longint in Statement ID
statementText  Text in SQL text string
Function result  Longint in Returns the result of the MS ODBC API function SQLPrepare

The ODBC_SQLPrepare command prepares a SQL string for execution passed in statementText.

stmtID is a valid statement ID returned by ODBC_SQLAllocStmt.

statementText is the SQL text string to be executed later with ODBC_SQLExecute.

SQL_SUCCESS, SQL_SUCCESS_WITH_INFO, SQL_STILL_EXECUTING, SQL_ERROR, or SQL_INVALID_HANDLE.
